This one makes a larger quantity of the solution Newspaper Preservation One quart club sodaTwo tablespoons Milk of Magnesia Mix in shallow container and let stand 24 hours until clear. Dip newspaper into mixture and allow to soak for one hour. Dry on paper towel. May need one or more books on top to flatten. After some use the mixture will turn yellow but it will still be good. Store in refrigerator in container clearly marked 'DO NOT DRINK'. Allow mixture to warm to room temperature before use. It will ruin documents or photographs! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Southeastern Illinois Resource Books [Pope, Massac, Johnson & Hardin] http://www.angelfire.com/il/leefoss Judy Foreman Lee "To forget one's ancestors is to be a brook without a source, a tree without a root..." *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
