The easiest way to get there is go down to Herod and turn left (north) onto Gape Hollow Road where the old store used to be (it burned and there is a pole barn in its place). This takes you up the back side of the mountain. The cemetery is large, mowed and well-marked on the left side of the road. I'm not certain if the cemetery is on that road or on Eagle Creek Road. If you haven't reached the cemetery by the time you hit Eagle Creek Road, turn left onto it. If you keep going on that road you will eventually pass Glen O. Jones Lake at the Saline County Fish and Wildlife Area. Another way to get there is to go to Equality and follow the signs to the lake and keep going past it. Eagle Creek Road is a gravel road. Gape Hollow is a wide asphalt road used by coal trucks, so be careful. They drive fast on those curves.
