>Anyone out there a ... Rankin? .... >Sharon Brown I have an Elizabeth Rankin (1823-1896) who married a John Franklin Angel (1821-1875) on Jan. 20, 1849, in Sumner Co., Tennessee. Their children were James T. Angel (1849), John W. Angel (1851), William Franklin Angel (1852), Mary Jane Angel (1854), Lucy Ann Angel (1855), Robert Elmore Angel (1858), Sarah Frances Angel (1860) and Joshua Angel (1862-1916) who married Margaret "Maggie" Peebles or Peebels (1863-1912). The last child is my great-great-grandfather. John and Elizabeth moved to Williamson County northeast of Marion.
