Laura, Great place to stay is the Shady Rest Bed and Breakfast. It is on the banks of the Ohio River within short walking distance to county courthouse. Proprietor's name is LeAnne. She has had alot of genealogists stay with her. Her hospitality I can't say enough for. Glad to hear such good things about Evelyn Hogg, the county clerk. She is a distant cousin of mine. She was extremely helpful when I went to see her. Someone also mentioned eating at the Dairy Bar. Great place to eat-the soup beans were great.
