I am going to be visiting the Pope Co. area at the end of this month, for the first time. I would appreciate any helpful advice anyone has to give me regarding the area. I am going there to do genealogical research and also trek through some cemeteries. One thing I would like to ask is if anyone knows where I can locate homes that were built in that county by one of my ancestors. What are some good places to see there so I can get an idea of what was there when my ancestors lived there? They lived there from the early 1800's up to about 1956, or so.
