Just a note to let you know that I found my great grandparents' marriage bond over in Paducah, KY, late 1800's, but they lived in Massac/Pope Co. area. Don't know why they crossed the river. Maybe they traveled over to Paducah because it was easier to get married there, or perhaps there was no one to perform the ceremony at that time. My great grandparents were Blitha OWENS and Mary Jane WETHERINGTON. Both of their parents lived in the Pope/Massac Co. area. Regina Owens Rice
