Thanks......now, where to start?!!! I had about given up hope on ever finding anything else on her, as my G-G-grandfater was married several times, and the only time Bonisy is listed, is in one marriage record, either in Pope or Massac County.( It's been a while since I've had all my genealogy papers out!) Thanks for the help, Nova Researching the DITTERLINE'S, MURPHY'S, & ELLIS families of Pope and Massac Counties.
Hi Nova...I would start with any surname listed below that has a second syllable after the C or S sound - marked a few examples below with an (*) asterisk. Although, if the Clerk wrote the name and copied it from the License Applicant handwriting or by the way he pronounced it, any would be a good guess. Rachel gave some great clues here! --carol === NovaB@aol.com wrote: > >In a message dated 10/2/05 2:17:37 PM Eastern Daylight Time, >rwolff_1942@hotmail.com writes: > >Interesting name RAISUE! > >I tried FamilySearch.org Surname and found no listing for the name as >spelled.
