I descend from Leonard Buckner and Mary Diarman through their daughter, Martha who married Joseph Newton. I have a guardianship paper dated Feb. 7, 1838 Court of Prbate held at the Galconda courthouse in State of IL County of Pope It states that on that date that John Morse, Jr. husband of Nancy Buckner is requesting that Joseph Diarman release his control over her as her guardian. Joseph Diarman was appointed guardian of Cynthia, Nancy, Joseph D., Martha, Cassandra, David M., and Mary Buckner. In one part it lists these children as heirs of Samuel Buckner. In another paragraph of same it lists these children as heirs of Leonard Buckner. Was his name Samuel Leonard Buckner or Leonard Samuel Buckner?? Cynthia
