Dear IDA: Yes, my Great Great Grandmother was Eliza (Elizabeth) Hughes, born in about 1810 (sorry I had indicated it was 1812) in Dinwiddie County, Virginia to William Hughes and Patsy Martha Stith. Martha died in Livingston County, KY while living near her daughter and other children. William HughesSr., in 1833 in Virginia. The rest of the family went on the Livingston County in the 1830s and lived on the Covington farm on the Ohio River across from New Liberty and between Ledbetter and Smithland on the Kentucky side. It seemed as though the Hughes spread out all over both sides of the river. I have not located the burial site for Eliza but it must be near New Liberty in Pope County.
