Thank you so very much. 1855 is the one I have but I was hoping they were in the 1865 census. I just had another thought. I wonder if you would be so kind as to look for the Allen Y. Smith family in the 1865 census. The Leverett and Smith families always seemed to move together and maybe the Leverett's were missed that year for what ever reason. I promise I won't bother you anymore. Thank you. Kathy. ----- Original Message ----- From: CarolSue Robinson <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, November 24, 2002 5:29 PM Subject: Re: [ILPOPE-L] 1865 Illinois State Census > I checked Lee & Foss Pope County, IL 1845, 1855, & 1865 > State Censuses, (compiled 1991) and found: 1955 Census > http://www.angelfire.com/il/leefoss/ > > - MARTIN LEVERT is listed with 11 in family > on Census page 54. - > > males: > 2 - 10 yrs and under > 1 - 10-20 yrs > 1 - 20-30 yrs > 1 - 40-50 yrs > > females: > 2 - 10 yrs and under > 3 - 20-30 yrs > 1 - 40-50 yrs > ============== > kathy wrote: > > >Does anyone known if the 1865 IL State census is on line. I have a Leverett family lost in either IL or MO. They keep moving back and forth between the two states. All suggestions appreciated. Kathy > > > > > > > > > > >
