Joan, My mother's father was Thomas Jackson Vaughn, son of William Jackson Vaughn and Martha Shelby. I have it that William Jackson was the son of (Andrew?) Jackson Vaughn and Nancy Edwards and that Jackson was the son of George Vaughn from NC. I think we are researching the same line. I would be happy to know what information you have and will share what I have.
