Hi Carol, Thank you so much for responding! I corresponded with a descendant of Hiram Wood some time ago, and she assured me that my Jane Wood was not in her family. What little I have been able to trace is that there were, I think, three Wood siblings: Henry M. Wood who married Margaret O'Melveny in Pope Co., in 1822 Jane Wood who married John Jackson and Amos Chipps Alfred Wood who, I believe, married Margaret Jackson I am certain of the relationship between Henry and Jane because of a family document. Alfred is not so certain, except that Henry's son was named Alfred and the name was carried on in the family. Not much is known about any of them, unfortunately.
