2. Hi, do you have a listing of who is buried in the IOOF cemetery in Golconda? Has it ever been published? I've spoken to the funeral director who had a plot plan, but he didn't have a full listing. Any help out there?

    3. Hi :o) I think I have a listing up to about 1992...10 years ago. The book is: "Pope County, Illinois Cemeteries, Volume IV" compiled by E.M.Woodworth and R.L.Bear April, 1992.... actually it was enumerated on October 18, 1991. There may be books still available for sale, but I would be willing to do look ups for no more than 2 people since I don't want to cheat the compilers out of a sale. If you can NOT find the book, then I would do as much as I can to help out. Try the websites below...they may give you a lead as to where to find it: Lee and Foss, Southeastern Illinois Genealogy Publishers Faye's New Homepage Carol R. 3. I have the four volumes of Pope County Cemetery Books published so far; IOOF is in the 4th one. I would be glad to look up something for you. Our family has a large section in this cemetery but no one in the family knows exactly who is buried where and what plots are open. Also who owns this cemtery - who would one contact to purchase or sell a plot? Who would keep a map or of who was buried in this cemetery and what grave sites were still available or who owned what? Seems every area and every state is different. I don't recall an office or grounds keeper at this location when I was there a few years back. Thank you for your help, Paula
