    3. Taffy, In the marriage book for Nancy Jane Ingrams, she is the mother and Philip Weest (yes, there are two e's in the last name) is the father of Catherine Weest age 17 who is marrying Daniel Davis age 17. Date of the marriage was 20 Mar 1881. It lists the marriage at the residence of Philip West (with 1 e) with Samuel West and Horace Davis as witnesses. I looked in the older records and didn't see Nanacy Jane and Philip getting married though. I do see the family on the 1880 census: Grand Pier Twp 264/266 WEST, Phillip 47 Married Farmer Prussia Prussia Prussia Nancy 34 wife Keeping house IL Prusia Prusia Samuel 19 IL Prusia IL cannot write Catherine 17 IL Prusia IL cannot write Lida 15 IL Prusia IL cannot write Jane 14 IL Prusia IL cannot write Mary 10 IL Prusia IL cannot write Christina 8 IL Prusia IL The other one lists Nancy Ingaham as mother and Philip West as father of Lydia Ann Davis (West) age 27 of Herod Springs marrying William H. Thomas age 38 on 11 June 1891, marriage taking place at the home of the bride. John Herod and Dan Herod as witnesses. I looked back but I didn't find Lydia (or Lida) marrying the first time. Does any of that help? 3. Patricia, Thank you for looking up that infomation! All of it was related to my family line. I had the information for Lydia (my husband's gg gma). I knew Lydia had an older sister named Catherine but I didn't have her info. According to my husband's gma, Phillip's name was pronouced as Woost. No wonder that it was spelled different. Thanks again, Taffy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Clede and Pat O'Neal" <pocotkg@vtc.net> To: <ILPOPE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, May 25, 2005 8:35 PM Subject: Re: [ILPOPE-L] Golconda city cemetery > Taffy, > > In the marriage book for Nancy Jane Ingrams, she is the mother and Philip > Weest (yes, there are two e's in the last name) is the father of Catherine > Weest age 17 who is marrying Daniel Davis age 17.
