Their grandson, Robert Rutherford Randolph, was superintendent of schools in Pope Co. 1907-1919. He later owned Johnson-Randolph School Supply Co. in Champaign, Il. Robert's parents were John L. Randolph b. 1840 and Susan Jane Wood, d/o Hiram & Martha Jane Cavitt Wood. I'd love to hear from anyone who knows anything about the parents/sibs of Marcus and Lucinda or anything else about the family.
