Jan, You are right. Most of the new worm-viruses invade the user's address book. Then email is sent out in the name of a person in that address book. The "From" line is relatively meaningless in determining where the virus-infected email came from. Everybody should not only have a anti-virus program running on their computer, but they need to update the virus definitions often, at least weekly, so that your a-v program can catch the new viruses as them come out. And, of course, never open an attachment unless the sender advises there is one. The a-v makers can only do so much ... it's up to us to keep the viruses from spreading.
