Hi! I've been going through the LDS microfilms of Pope County probate records. Unfortunately, they stop at 1888. Among other things, I'm looking for the probate records of the estate of Eli (or Ela) R. Warren. Born in North Carolina about 1807. Alive for the 1880 census. Wife's name Ellen. She was born in TN about 1809. Eli had been a landholder, so I have to assume his estate was probated. At any rate, does anyone out there know his date of death? If I could get that, then I could find probate records! Thanks a lot! Robert Schneider
