Thomas and Martha are a married couple in the 1900 census of Pope Golconda Pct Thomas is 50 years old born in Ky and Martha 24 b. Ky 1875 their son Scott was born 1897 IL and daughter Bertha born 1899 Illinois Thomas occupation is farm labor the household before Thomas is John A. Scott. John has 3 grandsons living with him Roscoe 10, Robert A 8 and Carl D 4. There is no wife or mother or father listed for the Grandsons. I feel he puts Thomas and Martha in his will out of gratitude they probable did a lot for the family or could Martha be the boys mother? It looks as if John A. remarries by 1910 to Katie. Katie is 30 years old and John is 68 years old. The Browns are no longer living in next household but the grandsons are still living with John. I hope this helps Wanda
