Hello - I did a very quick check in the Pope Co. History and Families, Vol 1, 1816-1986 published by Pope County Historical Society....here are notes of what I found: pg. 44 "Mt. Zion Baptist" (church) <snip>".....In July 1942 Bro. George REYNOLDS was called and served as pastor until 1944." --- pg 324 "JOHNATHAN M. REYNOLDS" (and Sarah E. OWEN) - Johnathan, (9th child of David and Luticia SUTTON REYNOLDS), was b. Aug 28, 1843 in Gallatin County, *IL*... (Johnathan and Sarah E. OWEN had 11 children: (no "William D." found listed here.) <snip>...."George Washington" (married Lynn Reynolds) [listed as a child of Johnathan and Sarah REYNOLDS]. <===submitted by Lovetia Middleton-Meegan> *This George W.
