I have ran into a dead-end on this family line and would like to know if anyone has information on John Anderson, stone mason in Golconda in the early 1800's, came to the area before statehood with his wife Eliza (Elizabeth) Davidson from Indiana. I understand they were married in Indiana but I have been unable to confirm that for sure. I think she may have died rather young and John may have married two other times, a Miss Hathaway and a Miss Boswell, whom he outlived as well. John Anderson my have come from Penn. into Indiana, not sure. Believe John died approx. 1833, his son William lived with Dr. Sims in Golconda. William married Sarah (Sally Gallimore (Galamore). William was born 15 June 1817, died Oct. 2, 1863, leaving wife and 9 children (John G., Andrew, William, Mathew, Mary Ann, James Alfred, Franklin, Ellen and Priscilla). Ken Anderson
