    3. Hi List. I'm in need of suggestions on where I can go to get burial info on an ancester who died during the civil war. I have all his enlistment records with date of death and everything EXCEPT no place of burial. I know he died in Fayetteville, Tenn on 19 May 1862. Have found no records and relatives don't know where he is buried. Anyone have any suggestions or sites where I can check. I also know his Military unit. All help appreciated. My e-mail is: [email protected] Thanks Kathy

    1. [ILPOPE-L] Guardianship papers
    2. Can anyone tell me where I would find court records for o guardianship done in Pope County, IL about 1861. Has anyone seen a Judge Foote in Pope County at about the same time? It is believed that John REEVES filed for guardianship of Sarah Jane and William REEVES. I would very much like to find these papers and see if it mentions the wifes name. Thanks for your help. Barbara Reeves Whittaker Mesa, AZ

    1. Re: [ILPOPE-L] Need Help
    2. Kathy, I don't know if you have already received an answer, but if you will give some information about his name, and what state and unit he served in, it would be helpful. States vary in the type of information they have and how to get it. Debbie kathy wrote: > Hi List.
