Good morning all, I have been reading with interest and awe the amount of knowledge that you all have about Pope County and its history of towns and people. I am looking for any and all Eskew's in this area. My grandparents lived in Eddyville an they are buried in the 'Old Home Cemetery. They are John Eskew and Mary Lillie Lauderdale. Does anyone have a listing of the burials in the Old Home Cemetery? I am looking for my g-grandparents and their resting place. Thank you in advance for any assistance. Indeed it borders Saline and Johnson Counties. The mail was addressed to Stonefort which is in Saline County, it is so rural there that there isn't really a town that I know of in the precinct. I also found the family listed in the 1910 and 1920 cenuses in Union Precinct. I had found a map online at one time which had Union precinct in it.
