James B. Phillips and wife Elizabeth (POOLE) were living in NC/SC. (The original Phillips family being from Somerset Co, MD.) James and family moved to Shelbyville, Bedford Co, TN then to Golconda, Pope Co, IL. (They also lived in Williamson Co., IL) Some of this family then moved to MI, Berrien and Oakland counties. EJR
