    1. Reynolds Researchers in Pope Co.
    2. doug malone
    3. Hi Pope Co. Reynolds researchers. My name is Doug and I have four Reynolds boys who married four different Leverett girls in Pope Co. at different times. I lost all tract of three of the four Reynolds boys and two of the Leverett girls. Hope a Reynolds researcher can fill in some of the blanks. William R. Reynolds married Nancy Leverett in Pope Co. Oct 4, 1853. She was born 1835 in TN to Martin and Elizabeth Leverett. I have a note that they may have had a dau married in Saline Co. in 1880. I have no info on William R. or wife Nancy after they married. In a black box at the court house in Golconda there is something about a widow named Nancy Reynolds and her little daughter in a newspaper article. I once saw it but wasn't looking for them at the time and I never went back. That is as close as I ever got to finding anything on them. Elmyra Leverett married John A. Reynolds, age 17 in Pope Co. on Nov 15, 1857. These two are well documented by others in the area. Sarah Jane Leverett, born 1836 in TN married James A. Reynolds in Pope Co. on Jul 13, 1854. I lost tract of both once they married. Mary Ann Leverett, born 1840 in TN married James W. Reynolds in Pope Co. on 20 Mar 1865. James had lived in the Leverett household since at least the 1860 Fed census. James may have died prior to Sep 1867 because Mary Ann remarried an Allen Young Smith in Pope Co. in Sep 1867. All help appreciated.
