I am searching for any information on descendants of the LOCKERBY and DOCTORMAN families in Pope Co. Also am trying to prove the name of the father of: James LOCKERBY b ca 1831 IL, George L. LOCKERBY b ca 1834 Williamson Co., IL, John Lewis "Dude" LOCKERBY b 1838 Williamson Co., IL, Elijah Franklin LOCKERBY b 1840 Pope Co., IL (my great grandfather) and Joab McCoy LOCKERBY b 1843 Pope Co., IL Also my greatgrandfather's mother was Lydia b ca 1811 in TN/NC. Am trying to find her maiden name. My great grandfather's oldest child was Mary Kidd LOCKERBY. Is KIDD perhaps the maiden name of his mother Lydia? His second child was Quincy Ono LOCKERBY.
