    3. I am looking for information on the Crotchett/Tanner families. What little info I do have is from family pictures, etc. Lorenzo Dow Crotchett (son of John Isaac/wife unknown) born in Golconda North, IL 2/20/1821. Married Elizabeth Christian Tanner 8/7/1845 (dau. of Thomas Tanner/wife unknown). The Tanners were from Kentucky but unknown where. Lorenzo & Elizabeth eventually ended up in Kansas (Miami Co.). One of their daughters, Mary Jane, married George Wesley Combs. I'm new to the list (and genealogy research) so if this request should be in another format, please let me know. Thanks in advance for your help. Lisa Combs Walter

    2. Jack Daniels
    3. Hello, My name is Jack Daniels, and I am looking for information on the following people that I believed lived in Pope County at one time, and I am hoping that some of the list members might turn out to be long lost cousins. Starting with my GGrandmother: Sharlotta Lee GATES b. MAR 1880 in Pope County, IL. d. 15 JULY 1943 in McDougal AR m. 15 FEB 1898 in Kennett MO (Sharlotta was born 3 months before her mother married Joseph HARPER, so I am assuming that she had the last name of GATES) Her parents S. S. GATES no info known at this time married to.. Mary Elizabeth HENSON b. 1853 in Saline County IL Mary's father: James HENSON no info known. Please let me know if any of you out there can please help me out... For 11 years my parents and I have been looking for Sharlotta Lee HARPER, and have been tracing the Harper line back, until recently we found that she was probably a Gates. Thanks, Jack Daniels
