The Easterlings have a very well established family association out of Mississippi. If you are not aware of it, let me know and I'll post their address and some names of key players. They are fine people, and have been helpful in my research on my WHITELEY lines who married in with the EASTERLINGs. Best, Walt This was on the Morgan Co., KY list. Were your Whiteley's (Whitely's) associated with the Easterlings? L
Sorry, Marvin. As I told Brenda, I could not find this name on the CD. It is, of course, a very incomplete record and so it does not mean that there is no record of the marriage you are looking for. Hello, The Glass's had quite a presence in Pope County and there is a lot of them. In a series of Books called the Saga of Southern Illinois you will find most of the Glass's that you are looking for. I am directly related to a Dudley Glass first found in Livingston Ky in 1799 then moving to Pope County. He had lots of kids, one being Elizabeth Glass who is one of my great ggg grandmothers. My mother knows lots on the Glass family, her address in zitalindell@juno.com. Feel free to E-mail her, genealogy is her hobby. Jim

Is she close to Leesburg? Kristin works in the county offices in the mapping department. If you get there again, go by and introduce yourself. She doesn't look like either one of us, so you won't recognize her. She is a tall blonde. I'll be glad to give you her email address if you want it. It is lcmapper@aol.com. This is her work email address. It is chilly and rainy here today. My house is a wreck because...no. 1...I'm lazy and rather do anything else and no. 2. We brought my son's chocolate lab inside because he is allergic to cedar. I'm headed to school to work on my classroom. I took 42 students (grades 1-5) to Florida to see the Discovery launch. It was great. Good to hear from you. Sharon

Could you please look up the name Shermantine. Thank you for your time!!! Have a nice day!!!! Brenda
Hi Sharon, I was giving this info to some lady named Vickie. How is Paducah? We had our first dusting of snow last night. I don't mind the snow up here as we have a town house and I don't have to shovel. They always clear the roads fast so traffice is not a problem. On one of my visits to Virginia to see our daughter and her husband a did some genealogy researh in Leesburg, what a niffty little town. Enjoyed my visit and plan to go back for more research. I have a lot of Virginia research so I may be paying our daughter a lot of visits. Linda Shetler Weatherford
