    1. [ILPOPE-L] Missing dates
    2. The Browns
    3. I certainly appreciate all the help I've gotten from the Pope County Link. Does anyone happen to know the dates that Lois Robbs Cletcher and Floy Robbs Cletcher died? Also, I need Mary Robbs Broadway's birth and death dates. Also, Eliza Robbs, born 7-18-1858, died ?????? She was married to a Hutton and a Garaghty. Lastly, Rachel Robbs Goodman, born 2-8-1860, died?????? These last two ladies were sisters of my greatgreatgrandfather. Thank you....Sharon

    1. [ILPOPE-L] McCready, Fox family
    2. With hope that someone will see this note for the first time...I am searching for information on Nathan McCready whom I believe is the son of John McCready and Esther Clarinda Fox (married 1842 in Pope County). Does anyone know of a family tree of the Fox family that lists the offspring of John McCready & Clarinda? Judy Foreman sent me a Fox family tree, but no offspring listed for John & Clarinda (however, thank you so much, Judy!). Hope someone can assist. I believe Nathan McCready is son of these two especially considering that Nathan was name of Clarinda's father. Txs & Merry Christmas. ArnellN@aol.com

I knew it at one time. We had decided that the Sarah at Sulfur Springs had to be her if she was there. We didn't have John's info at all. I really appreciate this. We visited Homberg Sunday and talked to Wayne Peak. His grandmother, Lois Cletcher is another sister. I think I have all the brothers and sisters now. Appreciate it. Sharon

Sharon, I believe Sarah King Robbs at Sulphur Springs Cemetery is your Sarah King Robbs. I have her as the daughter of John W. King and Elizabeth Ann S.Barger and her birthdate as 1855/56. At Sulphur springs her dates are 1855-1945...his is 1852-1934. Back to the Conleys you asked about. At Sulphur Springs there is Kathryn E. Conley 1884-1953 and William Roy Conley, 1880-1958. I believe this is Kate and Roy and Kate is the sister of Albert and Charles Robbs. Charles married Mayme S.Barger in Auagust 1908. Linda Killingsworth.

We have checked the records available in Paducah Library. Their names are not among those here. Also, could the Sarah D. at Sulfur Spings who died in 1945 be Sarah King Robbs?

    1. [ILPOPE-L] Was William C. Belcher married twice?
    2. Judy Smith
    3. Sam, Anything is possible. HOWEVER, I do not think William C. Belcher was married to anyone except SARAH ANN FORD. You will note on the list of children of William C. and Sarah Belcher, there was a John Hickman Belcher born Dec 1873. I was personally acquainted with John Hickman Belcher and never heard him speak of his father marrying someone else prior to John's birth. Also, in the pension records for William Carroll Belcher are papers regarding the death of Sarah Ford. These papers show her to be the widow, not the divorcee. I believe the other Williams are different people. Gives us something to work on, doesn't it? Judy Smith, jcsearch@wholenet.net

I've been following the discussion about the people buried in the Bouldin Cemetery bacause I have some ancestors buried there. I was able to visit the cemetery a couple years ago and located a few FINNEY family graves there. They were my gg-grandparents. I assume this David RAGAINS performed a marriage for BELCHER & FORD. Does anyone know who David was?? I had a some RAGAN family that lived in Eddyville. My grandfather, Hubert L. RAGAN was born in Eddyville in 1897. His father was William Henry RAGAN (who married Grace A. FINNEY). William Henry's father was Isaiah RAGAN who is buried in Sulpher Springs Cemetery. I am *really* curious about David though and if/where he might fit into my family. Any help would be appreciated and I would be glad to share what I have on the FINNEY/RAGAN families. Michael W. 3. Sam, if the same Wm married Sarah & Nancy, then did Wm & Sarah get a divorce? Because Sarah was on the 1880 PC census with her children and consented to several of their marriages during the 1880s. Sorry, I can't identify any of the other Wms.
