At this point, earliest I have is the aforementioned Joseph Dyer, born 1858. Any help you can give me will be most appreciated. I'd love to be able to hook up Joseph to one of your lines. BTW, my dad says he was always told Dyer was an Irish name. Do you know if this is true? Do you know who my immigrant ancestior probably was, where he came from, and when he immigrated? Hope to hear from you again soon. -mb.

If it's not to much trouble also for my great grandmother. She was born March 1872. Maybe she's listed in the 1880 IL. census. Thank you, Vikki
