I think I went through withdrawals--for the last 5 days I have not gotten to use my computer--guests and all---so I tried last evening--and my mail server was down--thought I would go nuts, but tonight things seems to be working just fine, so I'll go through my couple hundred messages and get this posted. Hope everyone had very happy holidays!!! Posting Surnames: BOWMAN (BOMAN), BRIDGES, JUSTICE, JACKSON
I've received a lot of information on the Randolphs. If anyone is interested let me know. Sharon
Sharon, I'd also be interested in the Randolph information. They married into my Rumsey, Glass & Trovillion families, plus into a few side lines, King, Gullett, Robbs, etc. Thanks for any help. Happy Holiday's To Everyone: I Pray you're all enjoying the Holiday's, are well, & safe ! I'm still busy researching my Ancestors, & as those of you who know me, I'm Freda Hobbs, & was born in Blind Holler on Tucker Hill in Cave-In-Rock, Illinois ! We were back there last Fall for a family Reunion, Hobbs/Hufsey's along with the Price's, Etc. This coming year it'll be the 2nd weekend in June ! Someone just sent out a E-Mail with the Surname " Shewmaker " , they are related, in fact our Postmaster is a Shewmaker ! I doon't have the E-Mail in front of me, but will try to contact the inquirer later if I can still find it, but there is a " Shewmaker Cemetery " at Cave-In-Rock just North of Town ! I would appreciate hearing from any of the Surnames Listed, connected or knowing someone ! Thank You All ! Sincerely, Freda Hobbs Tofsrud
Seasons Greetings! I'm looking for any information on my grandfather, Warren Cummins Gray, and my grandmother, Nancy Ann Moyers, who were married in Pope County, July 20, 1878. Officiating minister was Rev. William E. Gray (relation to Warren unknown; my father referred to him as "Uncle Will," but am fairly certain Warren and Will were NOT brothers). Nancy Ann's parents were Isaac H. Moyers and Jinetta (sp?) Daniels. Warren was born 1853 in Cannon County TN; Nancy Ann born in Illinois, probably Pope County. Does anyone have ANY information on these individuals or their families? THANX! Joseph D. (Joe) Gray 8246 Anemone Lane Indianapolis IN 46219-4013 JoGray@worldnet.att.net

Probably, probably, probably, probably. As soon as you get a bit farther, I can help you. Pope County has all their records. Marriage records are in good shape. Same for probate files and land records. Where are you located? How long have you been doing genealogy? Tell you Dad that I think he is correct. Scotch-Irish. Dee Doyle ---------- > From: Michael J.
