R. C. Davidson Jr lives at RR 3 , Golconda , IL 62938 (618) 683-4004 in Pope County , Illinois I think that he is about 60 to 65 years old. He and his wife Joan are very active in the local community affairs. He has restored a log cabin and donated it. I never knew what his initials stood for. There are many Buchanan's living in Pope County. Ken Buchanan's father was sheriff at one time. The books should be available at most libraries. What did you want to know, maybe I can help? Call Connie Gibbbs , Pope County Clerk at 618-683-4466 I am sure that she will have the answers for you. She has done a lot of abstract work and she used to work with Verba Moore who did all the abstract work for many years.
