Pat, Abraham Burkhead patented land in Pike County, Twp. 4 S Range 5 W 4th Principal Meredian. This was Hadley Twp, but, I have no section #. They were there from early 1840's through 1880. After that I cannot find them. Smith Toland was listed in the census right next to them. Sorry, I have no more information. Maybe this will help. Barbara in OK
