Mar. 12, 1880: "Died at the residence of Solon Huntley, in Hadley twp, Pike co. Ill. Mar. 6, 1880, Harlow Huntley in the 74th year of his age. Mr. Huntley was born in Oneida Co. NY, July 19, 1806 and moved to Illinois in 1843, settling in Hadley twp, where he afterwards lived until his death. Two years and a (week?) since he buried his wife with whom he lived 52 years. He leaves five sons and five daughters, one son living in California and one daughter in Missouri. The others all live not far from where the father died, and where they were (?) and are among the most worthy people in the community. Mr. Huntley was an old and highly (?) and had the ? of the community in which he died. (note - next part really hard to read) His funeral took place from the residence of his son Solon Monday and was conducted by Rev. William Green."
