The other family members were Staten Browns wife Penny Ruby and their children: Cassius, Jesse, John Quincy, Henry & Henryetta (twins)? and John Allen. There was a Sandy Brown living quite close to Staten Brown & I believe that Sandy was one of Staten Browns children from a previous marriage to Dicy Coffield. Sandy married Sarah Ann Morrgan during the late 1840's in Madison, Jefferson Cnty., Indiana. They had the following children: William, Mary, Robert, Samuel and Sandy. I have information on my ggrandfather William Wesley Brown and his wife Thankful Delight Smith who were living in Kinderhook,Pike Cnty., Illinois in 1860. I can not find a trace of Staten and Sandy Browns families after 1860 nor can I find a trace of Staten Brown prior to 1830 when he was living in Halifax Cnty., North Carolina. Where did this family go after 1860? Any help will be appreciated & I will share with others. Thank you. Sandy
