I've got WADDLEs that are from the Ironton OH / Russel KY / Huntington WV area and then proceeding back to Floyd Co KY and from there back into VA. WEDDLE might be a phoenetic pronunciation since WADDLE/WADDELL/WADEL is a somewhat major Scottish Clan. My grandmother was named Wilda Waddle.
