I would try looking on the 1920 census for the surname and seeing if you can find a male around the right age. If you don't know where he was from for sure, try checking the county where your aunt lived. My reasoning is that they had to meet, right? So they may have lived in the same county. Then you can try and find a marriage certificate with the "maybe" name to see if it is the right one, or look in some old phone books. But I would search the census, street by street.
