Could the kind "genies" who have copies of the cemetery books for Pike county please look up COULTER in the Pittsfield and Barry areas? I hesitated to ask before because I don't think any of my Coulters ever had enough money for a marker in a cemetery. But now I'm at a brick wall and looking for any help. These "brothers" (not sure) came to the US after 1850 1. Joseph (or maybe James) settled Mt. Sterling, Brown Co. 2. Irvin settled Pittsfield and had Robert A. Coulter (died Leavenworth) Margaret Coulter married Torney or Stormey or Stonney Irvin Coulter (never married?) Mattie Coulter married Joe Stewart James Coulter John Coulter George Coulter died Atlas, IL and had Howard George Robert Sarah (Sallie) Barsha Mattie 3. John ( I think he settled in Barry) and had James Coulter Edward Coulter John Coulter and had Elbert Coulter Lutecia (Lettie) Coulter married Allen Sanford Eliza Coulter married George McElroy Margaret Coulter married William Traner (or Trainer) Sarah Coulter married John Keys William Coulter Anybody else looking for Coulters in Pike Co.?
