Hi, Pat, When you have time (ha!), would you please check for the following HOBBS names in the 1872 Atlas? No rush, they're not going anywhere :-) I'm pretty sure they had moved on before 1912, so you needn't look there. John Jackson HOBBS, Jr., wife Malinda (CLARK), and their children Stephen D., Fannie J., Austin Henry, Sarah F., Lanorah, Wesley Felix, and Orestes Hillery. For the first 5 children, I have birthplaces as just "Illinois", but W. F. and O. H. were supposedly born in Pike. Birth records at the court house don't go back far enough, darn it. Thanks, Vanette
