Brent, After all of those compliments here I come dragging in with your request almost two months later. Shame on me huh? I am really sorry it has been so long in getting done. Dorothy Hope it will be worth the wait. Page 318 - County Supervisors - 1876 - A. J. Worcester, Montezuma Chairman John W. Brammel, Pleasant Vale Page 329 Chas. Brammell or Brumble, etc This rascal, whose name was spelled half a dozen different ways, was indicted march 15, 1866 for the murder of Edward Garrison, of New Canton. The fatal deed was perpetrated by stabbing the victim with a pocket-knife. Sept. 19, 1867, he was convicted of the charge and sentenced to state prison for three years. Page 840 Charles N. Brammel, farmer, sec 17, P.O. New Canton, was born in this county in 1847, and is the son of Thomas and Amelia (Butler) Brammell, who emigrated to this county in 1834; Charles N. now has charge of his mothers farm, and is going well, he was brought up a farmer, and was educated in the common schols of this conty./ Politically, he is a Democrat.
