The Hobbs seem to have settled in Perry Township. There is a Hinson Hobbs, H.Hobbs Jr., D.Hobbs and Co., Mary Hobbs, M.Hobbs, H.Hobbs, Sections 33, 34, and 35 and also a Wm. T. Hobbs that I missed in section 34. It says that Hinson came in 1834 to Pike from Ky. and also Wm.T. The other ones I mentioned above were not in the index which is what I said before whoever did the index left out several people. Probably had to pay to be in it. If you have any idea what township John Jackson may have been in I will look there.
