June 23, 1904, Mrs. Lydia Gray is Summoned - Died at the Home of Her Sister in Quincy. Mrs. Lydia R. Gray, of New Canton, widow of the late Eugene Gray, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. S.E. Hughes, in Quincy, Tuesday afternoon about 2:30 o'clock. She had been with her sister several weeks to receive medical attention. Her illness dates from the death of her husband, which occurred March 13, 1903. Deceased had many relatives in this vicinity. Her son George was here yesterday and went to Quincy in the afternoon to accompany the remains of his mother to Barry. They will arrive here this (Thursday) morning. The funeral services will be held in the Methodist church this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. W.M. Hailey officiating. Interment will be in Park Lawn cemetery.
