Sommer, an old and respected citizen of Perry, died very suddenly on his way home from town last Tuesday evening. He had a sick spell about a year ago and never fully regained his health. The funeral was conducted by Rev. W.W. Drake at his late residence on June 26, 1902, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Wilson cemetery. The services at the cemetery were conducted by Principle Lodge, No. 76, I.O.O.F., which with the Ideal Lodge, No. 75, D. of R., attended the funeral in a body.
