Capps, Venables and Simpsons I am not sure about the Capps and Ark., but it is very likely as some of the Mo. Capps went to Ark. My Capps lines were Jacob Capps who lived in or near Pleasant Hill about 1850--- and 2x great grandmother, Jemima Capps who married Charles Hubbard ca. 1790 probably in N.C. Hiram Capps, born ca 1806, died September 1, 1878 in Ark. son of Sampson Capps born The Venables were a large family, parents John Richard Venable and wife Rachel Pursely, they did scatter out. My great grandmother was Sarah Elvira Venable their oldest daughter who married Joseph Hubbard in 1842 in Pike co. Several of the sons came to Oregon with Sarah and Joseph, some of the children stayed in Pike co. David Hubbard Simpson had a daughter, Samantha born ca. 1840, married first Washington S. Lemley, had a daughter, Mary Ellen born July 1857. May also had a daughter Flora who married Mathius Bradley. Samantha divorced W.S. Lemley and later married Jacob Turnbaugh, as his second wife. Had at least one son, William E born about 1874. Samatha died after 1906.
