Peyton Hull, one of the pioneers of Adams county died at about ten o'clock Sunday morning at his residence about two miles east of Plainville. He was well advanced in years but death came very quickly. He was taken ill with congestion of the lungs only about five or six hours before he breathed his last. The deceased had resided in the southern part of the county almost all his life. He was a member of the Masonic fraternity, and that body officiated at his funeral at the Shiloh church Tuesday morning."
