Jan. 26, 1883: "Mary W. Blades was born Feb. 16, 1857, in St. Louis, Mo. When one year of age she was taken by her parents to Montgomery City, Mo., and when fourteen removed to Barry, where she has lived ever since. She was married to Geo. B. Hall June 12, 1881, and died at her home in this city Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 24, 1883, after a short illness, during most of which she remained unconscious. She leaves a husband, an infant daughter and many friends in bereavement. She was greatly respected and beloved by all who knew her, and her words of cheer will long be remembered. The funeral takes place from the M.E. church this morning, and the services will be under the direction of the Daugters of Rebekah, of which order she was an esteemed member." __ She is listed in the Barry Cemetery, Barry, Pike Co.
