Surnames: Ross, Dewell, Jennings, Ferris Classification: Will Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/kg.2ADI/714.1.3 Message Board Post: I have the will of Roby Ross showing Roby Dewell was her niece: Will - 1873: I, Roby Ross of the town of Barry in the County of Pike and State of Illinois of the age of 83 years and being of sound mind and memory do make publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner following to wit: 1st, It is my desire and will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be fully paid. 2nd, I give and bequeath to my niece, Roby Dewell, all my personal estate towit, money's, notes, bonds, goods and chattels of what nature or kind ?? to her and her heirs forever. 3rd, It is my desire and wish to be buried in Pittsfield in my lot in the cemetery west of the city of Pittsfield and that my Executor cause to be erected suitable gravestones to my grave. And lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint John N. Dewell to be the Executor of this my last will and testament hereby revolking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 19th day of May A.D. 1873 (signed by Roby Ross).
