Don't suppose your Joneses and my are related but we will have to compare notes. I am interested in the path you have found for your John Jones as, of course, there was a John Jones living next to Henry Hoover in Morgan County, Ohio in 1820. I noticed because I notice Joneses. He likely is not yours but it is interesting. Have you found ANY tie with our Hoovers and the Montezuma(Pike County) Hoovers and do you know that James Martin married Lydia Greathouse first, for sure?? One of the Montezuma Hoovers also married a Greathouse.This is so exciting. I have found no ties between them thus far but the Strattons and Hoovers seems pretty tight.
