The Cemetery Resident Listing Project is now up and running! Glenda Subyak at GSubyak@aol.com is the manager for this project and is responsible for collecting and uploading the cemetery resident information. This project is part of the Cemetery page at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilpike/cemeteries.html At this time there is a partial listing for one cemetery. If we all gather up our information and submit it to Glenda via the online form we can get this project off to a good start! I would also like to encourage everyone to assist in this project by jotting down a few markers around your family members plots each time you visit a Pike Co cemetery and submit them for inclusion on the pages. It will only take a few extra minutes of your time and will be a valuable asset to the Pike Co pages. Please - those that have the cemetery books published by the Pike Co Historical Society - we can NOT ethically or legally transcribe information directly from these books to be placed on the web site. The information that is posted must be from your own personal notes.
