You do not have to be related to a Mason to become one! You only have to "ask one to be one"! That is, simply say to a Mason that you would like to become a member and you will gladly be given a petition to join! There are affiliated organizations where you must either be a Mason to join, or be a woman related to a Mason. My husband/father/grandfather/great-grandfather are Masons, and we belong to several of the affiliated groups between us. Jann Bass
