You do not say where you have looked for marriage licenses nor do you give their full names. Where did you look? Pike County, IL? I have found that a lot of the ones from as far as Scott County, IL went to Bowling Green, Mo to get married. At that time they could go by train. Did you look at Palmyra, Mo? Some even went from Pike County, IL to Keokuk Iowa and Ft. Madison, Iowa. I have looked in my books for Brown County, IL, but that is all. I live in Pike County, IL. longlong85@pikenet.net
